Boiler pressure impregnation
Korasit® KS2 was specially developed for professional boiler pressure impregnation and has been proven to protect wood for more than 25 years with an unchanged active ingredient composition! The best proof is that millions of impregnated logs are used in fruit and wine growing across Europe, plus hop poles and sturdy masts in demanding areas such as telecommunications and energy supply.
Korasit® KS2 combines effectiveness, environmental compatibility and compliance with strict health and consumer protection requirements. In 2024, Kurt Obermeier GmbH received European product approval in 19 countries for the next ten years.
Protection from blue stain and mould infestations
Freshly harvested wood is quickly infected by wood-discoloring or wood-dwelling moulds and blue fungi. These generally do not break down the wood substance, so that an infection has no effect on the physical properties of the material. However, the appearance is heavily influenced. In addition, blue stain and mould can pave the way for wood-destroying organisms.
Korasit® BSM-P protects your wood assortments immediately after cutting to drying, as a preventative and effective measure against blueness and mould growth.
Immersion impregnation
Wood and wood-based materials often serve a supporting or structural role in building constructions, such as roof trusses. To protect these critical elements from wood-destroying fungi and insects (usage classes 1 to 3), we have developed the Korasit® NG product family. Available as colourless or coloured concentrates, these products are easy to use and can be simply diluted with water to achieve the desired ready-to-use concentration.
