Because transparency is the key to promoting a sustainable future. By providing these sustainability datasheets, we want to help you and your customers make conscious and well-informed decisions.
The first sustainability data sheets for our wood preservatives can be found on our website www.koraholzschutz.de (products). We are a member of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), the largest network for sustainable construction in Europe. The DGNB certification is considered a global standard. Many of our products are registered with the DGNB.
Most of our products are classified according to the Sustainable Building Quality Seal (QNG). The seal is awarded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction (BMWSB). The aim of QNG is to promote sustainable construction and sustainability certification as an instrument of quality assurance within the framework of the Climate-Friendly New Construction (KFN) and Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG) funding programs.
Many of our products are also listed in the BauBook database. The shareholders of baubook GmbH are 50 percent each the Voralberg Energy Institute and IBO GmbH (IBO Austrian Institute for Building and Ecology). Baubook simplifies ecological and healthy construction and facilitates documentation within the framework of ecological tenders, building certifications and funding systems.
