There are already clear guidelines for handling biocidal products within the EU. As part of the requirements of the Biocide Law Implementing Ordinance (ChemBiozidDV), which is valid only in Germany, we have adapted our KORA® wood protection program.
From January 1, 2025, new rules will apply to the distribution of biocidal products, including certain wood preservatives. No restrictions apply to the delivery of assortments treated with biocide-containing products (“treated articles”).
Affected wood preservatives may only be dispensed under the following conditions:
