KORA® wood protection participates

Until September 29, 2024, the German timber industry wants to send a strong signal and draw attention to the “Wood saves climate” initiative and its climate policy and economic significance with numerous actions throughout Germany.

The idea is very simple yet effective: The German Timber Industry, with its 70,000 companies and 650,000 employees, invites politicians and society to get to know the industry and “Wood saves the climate.”

On the homepage www.holz-rettet-klima.de There is a lot of interesting, familiar and new information about the initiative, about wood as a raw material and climate saver, but also about the forest as a habitat and what it means for us humans.

We are pleased that with our KORA® wood protection products, we can contribute to making local wood so versatile or even usable for certain areas of application (wine and fruit poles, hop poles and telecommunications masts).

We make wood strong — we use our expertise to do so. There is a good reason for KORA® Holzschutz's enthusiasm for wood: Our home is the Rothaargebirge in south-eastern North Rhine-Westphalia — a home of 78,000 hectares of forest.

We know the value of wood as a renewable resource. With its excellent ecological balance, wood meets the requirements of sustainable economics in an exemplary manner.

Local wood in focus:

  • renewable raw material
  • C02 neutral
  • low energy consumption from logging to processing
  • easy transport due to low weight
  • supports local sustainable forestry
  • high elasticity and strength
